Hotline: The gay next door - All about Jamestown anti-gay attacks back

posted on Thu, 31 May at 10:42

Jamestown is located directly east of the Korle Lagoon. This Accra suburb is one of the oldest.

A fishing community, it emerged around the James Fort which was built by the British during the 17th century on the Gulf of Guinea coast.

Rapid population growth of the city has turned the once-plush community into a dense mixture of commercial and residual use.

But recently there has been concern about attacks on homosexuals. Two months after these attacks Paa Kwesi Asare returns to find out what has changed. Tune in to the Super Morning Show this Thursday at 8:30am. Click here for more episodes of Hotline.
