In many countries sexually transmitted infections (STI's) and their complications are very common and rank in the top five disease categories for which adults seek health care!!!! Unfortunately STI's are also very common amongst adolescents and young adults.

STI's are the main preventable cause of infertility, particularly in women.
Sadly many Ghanaians are uncomfortable discussing STI's.
