JC Cafe is a 2hr show delivering quality Christian rap and rhythm & praise to the Ghanaian and International community with the aim of bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the youth.

HipHop is a musical phenomenon that has taken the world by storm. Some of the most famous people on the planet are hip-hop stars and their messages have been overwhelmingly embraced by the youth. This is the reason why we, young Christians, believe that if we are to impact and inspire this generation, we have to take the Church to them. Enter the Christian Rap movement.

A genre of music which uses hip-hop beats fused with Biblically inspired lyrics to deliver Biblical principles and ideology. If the youth won’t go to Church, we will bring the Church to them. Christian Rap lets them know it’s cool to dress casual, rock baggy pants, braid your hair or do dreads, be hip, funky and still have the Glory of God on your life.

The show is packed with the latest Christian rap/rhythm and praise hits from Ghana and across the world. It has interactive segments such as In the Spotlight-where we introduce a new artist and play a couple of their tracks; Dig’ In-a no nonsense talk segment where we discuss various challenges young Christians may face in this modern society and how to overcome them, delivered in a real but non-judgmental way; Holy Jam Session(HJS)-time to party like David. HJS is the session where we play Christian rap and rhythm and praise hits. Homegrown Hits; a 25min segment that showcases local talents.

Listeners’ can contribute to the show via SMS, Xfm’s Facebook fan page, the website or simply call the studio live during the show.

The show has been running on Xfm 95.1 every sunday for a couple of weeks now and it has seen massive response from the community especially the youth. Amazingly, there are very talented young guys and gurls who rap, sing, dance but haven't found the right platform to showcase these talents. Thats where JC Cafe comes in. By providing them with a voice, they can emerge from their shells and give glory to God, by so doing, spread the Gospel further than orthodox churches could ever dream.
