Freeky Fortune is a new game, introduced by the National Lottery Authority to increase the means of winning big sums of money by selecting 8 numbers starting from one to 56, and the winning numbers for the maiden draw were as follows in the multiples of seven: 7,14,21,28,35,42,49,56.
Freeky Fortune, unlike the other lottery ticket, is electronically made voucher with a special pen with in-built camera to capture the numbers as they are ticked on the voucher. The electronic nature of the game helps individuals who buy the card to receive text message after ticking the send button on their vouchers as a space is provided for mobile numbers to be written twice for confirmation of mobile numbers.
The Freeky Fortune draw takes place at 9.30 GMT every Friday at the Brennan Hall at the Head Office of the National Lottery Authority in Accra. According to NLA,” the game may also, be telecast live”. But should there be any problem to prevent a live telecast; arrangement will be done to have a delayed telecast. They added that, any member of the public, above the age of 18 years may be admitted to watch the draw which will be determined by the Director-General of NLA from time to time.
Mr. George Addo-Yobo, the Director of Operations, said in an interview with XFM that, “this new game from NLA, is here to change the life of many people as there are always winners after every draw. He further advise individuals to buy their vouchers from the right places to avoid fake people who will try to sell fake ones”.
He however, cautioned the public that whenever you dot receive an SMS after staking you should know that the voucher is a fake one and should insist on your money.
Mr. Addo also, explained that, the is a pool of cash available to be won every week and this will be shared among the number of people who stake the winning numbers for the week, adding that, the pool is constantly increasing with seals of vouchers and will continue to grow till 18.00 GMT on the draw.
All winners should come to the NLA Head Office with their winning vouchers, valid IDs and evidence that show that the phone number is really theirs he added.
